What you think . . you become
NLP
What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)?

What pictures are you creating?NLP studies brilliance and quality – how outstanding individuals and organizations get their outstanding results. The methods can be taught to others so they too can get the same class of results. This process is called modeling.

NLP is a broad study that began in the mid 1970s when psychologist Richard Bandler and linguist John Grinder, studied excellent communicators. They wanted to answer that intriguing question: what makes someone really skillful? How do outstandingly successful people do what they do so well?

NLP has evolved since then into the systemic study of human communication. NLP studies how we structure our subjective experience – how we think about our values and beliefs and how we create our emotional states – how we construct our internal world from our experience and give it meaning. NLP studies experience from the inside. No event has meaning in itself; different people will give the same event a different meaning.

NLP has grown by adding practical tools and methods generated by modeling exceptional people. These tools are used internationally in sports, business, training, sales, law and education. NLP is practical; it gives skills as well as theories. However, NLP is more than just a collection of techniques. It is also a way of thinking, a frame of mind based on curiosity, exploration and fun. Now NLP is used and taught all over the world in business, sales, personal development, education, sports and therapy.

NLP has 3 parts:

1. Neuro - Our neurology, how we think and feel
2. Linguistic - Our language, how we understand language and how we are affected by it
3. Programming - Our actions, how we act to achieve our results.

NLP is the art and science of human excellence is a way of bringing out the best in you and in others.NLP is the ability to affect or change the nervous system.
